Great value for the money.

Pros: Console is a noticeable upgrade over my beloved but now retired XBox 360 console. The console is whisper quiet, the only way I can tell it’s on is the lit up Xbox Emblem. Game performance is exceptional, so far I have only played Destiny, Forza 6 and the included Rise of the Tomb Raider Games. Multiplayer in Destiny was very easy using XBox Live, game experience and the consoles overall performance in all games is exceptional. Setup is very easy, plug the power brick into the wall, connect an HDMI Cable (included) to the TV and fire it up. System requires a few firmware updates and patches which is done automatically and took about 20 minutes total to patch up and get started. Nothing is required on your end except to follow the on screen prompts which mostly includes little more then ‘press A to continue,’ very easy. The included game ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ is a very fun and graphically impressive game. It is a digital download, not a physical disk, but it is the full unrestricted game and is very easy to claim and install.

Buying guide for Xbox One bundles

 on November 26, 2015
I wanted to create a guide to help those interested in purchasing an Xbox One, since there are so many bundles, and offers change constantly. I’ll attempt to keep this up to date as the bundles change. This is NOT a comparison to Playstation 4 or Wii U.

Super quiet fan, no heat issues and blu-ray drive is a bonus

With the release of the new tomb raider game, comes a new bundled system. Let’s face it, there are many bundle choices and even more to come. It really comes down to what games you want to play first. Being a tomb raider fanboy I went with this option. I already played the first reboot on the 360, so I’m really getting one game out of this deal. But, I’m also getting another 500GB of storage for 10 bucks when you consider the game is around 50 bucks. I wanted to finish the game before reviewing the system. It took me about 20 hrs to beat-skipping optional tombs and side quests. It’s a beautiful game and from my research it pushes the absolute limits of the xb one. So that’s as good as it’s going to get for this generation. I didn’t experience any lag either… As far as the ui, I was worried about the endless tiles from 360, but to my surprise, it updated to win 10 and looks so much cleaner and modern. The browser is snappy too. There are 2 annoying things: Downloads take hrs to finish (even with 35/5 speed connection) and a chatpad is a must (you’ll understand why after your first 25 character code). Also, keep in mind, there is no headset.

Great System

The Xbox One is an incredible system. It looks modern and slick. It comes with one wireless controller.

Great system but requires Internet for a lot of things

The system itself is an amazing piece of machinery and has pros and cons. Keep in mind that Internet is REQUIRED to initially set up the machine and is required to run several apps.

So far so good.

So far the XBO has been a nice step up from my XBOX 360. The initial interface took a little getting used to, especially to dig into specific privacy toggles and switch password requirements. It’s not all completely intuitive. But Rise of the Tomb Raider was beautiful and played very smoothly, loading times not too long. I’m currently in the middle of Mad Max, and it’s a little buggy sometimes, but I think that’s more the game rather than the system.

But the xbox one is little disappointment that games you bought on an 360 you don’t….

It came fast thanks amazon. But the xbox one is little disappointment that games you bought on an 360 you don’t get them on the one unless you buy them again for example tomb raider you bought all the add ons and you got yourself an xbox one and want to play on the one but they are not there become the one offers definitive edition of it. Ya it have better graphics but you will have to buy all your add ons back bull. An xbox one is good for social media and some gaming unless you don’t care an just buy all the dlc that your have on the 360. This is my opinion if you like the xbox one go for it. just keep your 360 it will save you money they charge you for every thing.

I received this Xbox yesterday and so far its working fine. I like that it comes with the tomb raider bundle. Some of the other reviews stated that it takes a long to set up, which is true if this is your first time setting one up or if you don’t have a Microsoft account. We already have 3 other Xbox Ones at home, so the setup part wasn’t that bad. It started right up after I connected everything. So far so good!!

Great Scott that was a long install

Great product, great seller. My husband didn’t understand why I wanted to get a used 1TB as opposed to a cheaper/newer 500GB, but the moment he installed Fallout 4 he understood. Great bundle, I’ve been a lifetime Sony girl, but compromised for sake of husband who just doesn’t operate at that speed. I appreciate throwing the Tomb Raider reboots in, gives me the chance to say hi to an old franchise. Prepare to wait a day or an evening before you can play any of your big games.
