Love it, much nice than the Assassin’s Creed Bundle from 2014.

Just got the new 1TB model yesterday as an upgrade from the Assassin’s Creed Bundle and figured I’d give a quick review.

Great Value for Next Gen

While they stumbled horribly out of the gate with the Xbox One, Microsoft has spent the last year making amends with big improvements in hardware updates and refocusing on what matters most…the games.

Great system and value overall for the 1TB MCC Xbox One Bundle

Great system and value overall for the 1TB MCC Xbox One Bundle. My complaints are more aesthetic than anything else. The UI/Dashboard for the Xbox One is absolutely atrocious. I don’t understand why they didn’t just keep the 360 Dashboard. I can see now why they have a planned overhaul scheduled for Q4 this year. The other complaint is having the included MCC game done as a downloadable code. When games wheigh in at over 50 GBs I personally feel it is unreasonable to make new users wait hours before they can play the pack-in game. However, there really is nothing comparable to gaming on an Xbox. The feel of playing Halo 1 again was amazing.

Owned a PS4 for the last 2 years, it now collects dust…

I decided to buy an Xbox One in July 2015 due to Microsoft’s dedication to updating and making the console better, and after their presentation at E3 2015 with the announcement of backwards compatibility.

Still feels like a work-in-progress

I bought mine directly from Microsoft. This exact text of this review was moderated and not allowed on Microsoft’s website….

Definitely worth the money the new controller really does make a difference.

Awsome system and some things that could have been better.

I just got it and it is awesome. I currently have Windows 10 Insider Preview and love how I can record game play directly on to my computer. I was trying to decide between this and the CoD one, but then I saw that the CoD bundle is $270 more I decided against it (plus you set more games with this). I was both glad and disappointed that this didn’t include a Kinect sensor. Glad because I don’t have the room to utilize it and disappointed because I can’t make use of the voice commands. The headset is bad but easily replaced and I would have liked to see custom art on the controller or console for the bundle but that is just a wish. The set up does take awhile and I wish Amazon did a better job with the description by telling you whats in the box like with the 3 Month Gold one but that is on Amazon. As for the good points it is much faster than my 360 and the included HDMI cord let me jump right in to HD gaming without needing to buy another cord and the MCC lets me get ready for Halo 5 and keep me from getting board from playing the same game all the time and is what made me give this 5 Stars instead of 4.

Buying guide for Xbox One bundles

Updated 10-3-15 to include upcoming releases. I contacted Microsoft about games in upcoming bundles and was informed that all games will be download codes, despite sometimes unclear wording on product pages.

First XBox Console I’ve had in years

I want to start this off by indicating that I am not a hard core gamer. I had the original XBox years ago. It died. I didn’t get another one until last week when I decided to get an XBox One. One of the reasons I waited is because I don’t trust brand new consoles and I was right, there were numerous issues upon the initial release. When I went to the Amazon site and read the reviews of this one, I saw that several reviewers remarked that the issues, for the most part, have been fixed. So I decided to give it a try.

Great new package. No reason to upgrade from the 500gb model, but an excellent choice for a first xbox one

A solid XBOX One. 500GB fills up surprisingly fast, and while 1Tb certainly won’t last forever it is a much larger starting ground. Also, this console includes the new controller that has a headset jack directly without needing an adapter. The halo package is fun, but not a huge value ad as it can be found for under thirty dollars, but its hard to go wrong with this console starter set. Also worth noting, this is $150 less than the kinect version, and includes a game and the kinect can be purchased for 150 separately, allowing you to get halo free rather than buying the kinect version and getting only dance central, which is bundled with the kinect as well.
