a nice short little usb connector

I carried this spare in my purse in a small zipper pocket, so if I needed to use the backup battery pack to charge my phone, i’d have it at the ready, while not wasting space with a big tangled cord. The key shape is a cute idea but the head of the key (the bigger round metal part) was actually pretty heavy and clunky, and as I had no need to actually attach it to my key chain I just took that part off and threw it away. which seemed like a shame actually – the little 1 inch lenth of usb was just a simple little thing once that key part was gone. but I’m pragmatic, it was the short length I was after anyway, not the clever key factor

This works great but I should have thought about how impractical it is to try charging an iPhone without at least a short cable. You can only use it if you have a way to keep the phone lined up with the USB port you are plugged into. Works fine with a laptop but is impossible in the car.
