This is one hard game! But I love a challenge so its pretty neat. I like the whole new concept this game brings alongside the fact that everything is limited…you’re either running away from the enemies or trying to kill them with the limited amount of bullets the game provides. Mind you, you WILL DIE several times because of the few minor glitches you might experience. The controls are not very very tight as I would like them to be but you still manage to get a hang of it after a while. This game is great for the scare factor and that it doesn’t let you off too easy even at the normal difficulty. If you enjoy a challenge and really horrid situations and enemies, you will enjoy this. Overall great game

Great game: a must buy for horror lovers

My husband and I just finished this game and overall, excellent game! It reminds us a bit of the Silent Hill series we enjoy. The pros definitely outweigh the cons in my opinion. Pretty decent graphics, great monsters, strange storyline, and the gameplay is just fun overall. Definitely one to scare the crap out of you! The only things we didn’t care for was there really wasn’t any character connection we felt with the protagonist Sebastian (which I look for in games) and sometimes it was annoying when we couldn’t see trip wires or bombs. Once we understood some of those types of things, it became expected and easier to avoid or disarm. Laura is definitely why I give this 4 stars because it literally took us FOREVER to kill that hoe. BURN IN HELL SPIDER HOE.

I’ve been playing this game for a little while and although I haven’t made it very far I can say that I have sort of mixed feelings about it due to those black bars that’s supposed to make it cinematic when actually it makes it annoying, the combat is so so so far plus the boss fight are a little on the frustrating side and this is coming from a seasoned veteran of horror games but for some reason Im intrigued to play this game due to the characters in the game and I’m not talking about the antagonist,I’m talking about the horrifying monsters who send a little shiver when I encounter them, all in all this game so far is so so but I’m almost certain it’ll get better as I go forward..

A true horror masterpiece.

Did i smoke salvia? No i think i just played the most freakish intense game yet. Your hands will be sweaty and your mouth will be dry. Any problems you may be going thru will be irrelevant after playing as Sébastien. Its truly an immersive trippy hell.

Shinji Mikami delivers another excellent horror game!

I absolutely love this game. While this may not be as good as Resident Evil 4 (which I’m sure many will compare this game to it) I find it has it’s own identity. This game has a great overall atmosphere, and while it may not be a scary horror game, it still has that creepy survival horror vibe to it that makes the genre so great. Control is a bit janky, and it is easy to die in this game. This game is tough, and you WILL die a lot. Story is a bit confusing, but I still found it to be a nice ride overall. Great soundtrack, too. If you are a fan of Shinji Mikami and a fan of survival horror in general, you should by all means pick up this amazing game.

No questions, get it.

Game is really scary. I’m still on the first part but wow. The graphics are very next gen like. I love how it has casual mode and survival mode (me personally, I love horror games so survival is right up the alley for me) it requires stealth and for you to think out the box. If you’re into horror games, this is a must have. And if you’ve played resident evil 4, you will enjoy this as well.

Perfect survival game

A challenging 3rd person game, not a whole lot of direct attacks, majority of game is sneaking around enemies. Graphics are good, but not up to par compared to other recently released xbox one games. Mechanics are a little clunky also, but overall I would recommend this game if you like gory, edge of your seat horror. This game is VERY graphic so you should you discretion when playing around younger persons.
